How To Create A Birthday Canvas\u00a0Gift<\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Choose a photo of you and your loved one having a wonderful time together. Ideally, find a couple of options that are at least 150 DPI and at least 30cm wide or deep so you have flexibility when it comes to the design. Later on, you will need to crop your photo into more of a squarish shape, so keep that in mind when you\u2019re choosing a photo.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Choose a birthday quote from the list below. While these quotes are excellent for happy birthday cards, to give the canvas print some longevity, you might like to remove the reference to \u2018happy birthday\u2019 and make it more generic.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Go to Canva at www.canva.com<\/a>, sign up for a free account and, once you\u2019re logged in, select the Presentation: 16:9 design option. Here, you can choose from a whole range of designs. Some are free, some you have to purchase and others let you upload your own image. For this step, I prefer to keep it simple. Here\u2019s one I like:<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Type in your favourite quote. Delete the sections you don\u2019t need. Here, I deleted the title and the subtitle. I also increased the size of the text. I didn\u2019t change the font type, but you can if you like. I quite liked the photo of the vines, so I left it but you can choose to upload any photo you like! Avoid putting text close to the edges of your image in case you need to crop it later.<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong> Once your happy with your Canva design, select Download and choose Download as an Image. Your design will be saved in your Downloads folder on your computer.<\/p>\n

Step 6:<\/strong> Leave Canva and open our CanvasApp at\u00a0www.canvasfactory.co.nz\/create-canvas-prints-online<\/a><\/p>\n

Now just follow the prompts to upload the file you just downloaded from Canva as well as the photo (or photos) of you and your friend.
